Long tour passing the main branch of the Baradla Cave

Guided tour in Hungarian and English

On one of our easiest adventure tours, visitors can get acquainted

with the main branch of the Baradla Cave leading from Aggtelek to

Jósvafő.

The first part of the tour is the same as the short tour route, then

the adventure begins! On the undeveloped section of the cave,

transportation is aided by bridges and steps built where necessary,

and the group members provide their own lighting with the lamps they

bring, all the way to the junction with the Vörös-tó branch. From

here, the tour route is the same as the Vörös-tó middle tour route.

The tour ends in Jósvafő, so we recommend that you take the bus

departing from the bus stop near the exit at 14:48 every day towards

Budapest to return to Aggtelek, or park your car in Jósvafő in the

morning before the start of the tour and take the bus departing at

9:08 every day from the bus stop called "Jósvafő, szálló bejárati út"

to Aggtelek (we will wait for those arriving by bus at the starting

point of the tour).

Minimum age: 10 years, group size: 10-35 people

The tour starts with prior registration.

The tour will only depart if the minimum number of participants (10

participants) is reached.

Visitors can rent caving equipment at the Information Office

(Aggtelek, Baradla-oldal 3), even for several days. (Trying on and

exchanging caving overalls takes time, so please arrive in time so

that the tour can start at the planned time and no one has to wait!
