Radish Branch Tour

Those who do not shy away from adventure and the fact that you can navigate the passage while walking in water for most of the year should visit one of the special side branches of the Baradla Cave - the Radish branch - where you can admire, among other things, the radish-shaped stalactites of the namesake. The route of the tour is practically the same as the route of the "Long Tour", only with the addition of a 1,250-meter section of the Retek branch, where there is water even in dry periods. For this reason, the use of rubber boots and/or change shoes and change clothes is mandatory.

This tour also includes listening to music in the Concert Hall and the Hall of the Giants.

In the undeveloped section of the cave, the members of the group provide the lighting with their own lamps!

The tour ends in Jósvafő, so we recommend that you travel back to Aggtelek on the bus from the bus stop near the exit, which leaves at 14:48 every day in the direction of Budapest, or park your car in Jósvafő in the morning, before starting the tour, and take the entrance road to the Jósvafő hotel from the bus stop called, take the bus that departs at 9:08 a.m. every day to Aggtelek, the starting point of the tour (those arriving by bus will be waiting for the tour departure).

The tour starts on the basis of prior registration, when the minimum number of people is reached.

It is possible for our visitors to rent caving equipment at the Information Office (Aggtelek, Baradla-side 3.), even for several days.

(Trying on and changing the caving overalls takes time, so please arrive on time so that the tour can start at the scheduled time and the others don't have to wait for anyone! Thank you!)
