Jósvafő short tour

The length of the round trip from the entrance of the Baradla Cave, Jósvafő and returning to the same place is 1400 meters, and takes about 60 minutes.

Although there are few steps, it is considered a moderately difficult hike due to the high level rise!

Although the tour presents a total of 700 m of this huge cave, it is full of sights and attractions. In the first half of the tour, stalactites can hardly be found, as the rock typical of this section is not conducive to their formation. Don't worry! This rock-cavernous part also hides interesting things: during the passage we can observe creases, sowing, stratification. In the second half of the tour, the halls become more and more ornate, the wild rock formations are tamed, and the road between / near special formations - Crocodile Mouth, Butcher Shop and Lakeside Castle - continues to the Giant's Hall, the culmination of the tour. Here, in the largest cavity of the cave system, not only the sight but also the unique sound is unforgettable!
